After attending an appointment with my mom and grandparents, we headed back to drop off my mom at home. It was a good day, and I was in a completely good mood. I drove down till I hit the stop light on Sierra and Lundy and there was a construction worker measuring the height of each of those red and white poles that stop you from going when a train is about to pass. I'm not sure what ever all called. I believe it took well over five minutes for him to finish and let the traffic continue. I drove towards the four way stop sign and slowed to a stop as I was about to make a right turn. There was alot of incoming traffic, and my head was turned to the left to may sure everything was clear, so I waited till the next car passed by and I was about to put my foot on the gas as I was still looking left.

A really hard force was struck from behind me, my first instict was only to have me hit the breaks so I don't hit any oncoming or parked cars. My head jerked back towards the front of the car, gripped my hands on the wheel and I felt my neck twist a bit, strained from the sudden movement. I remember hearing my grandmother yell out and my grandfather took hold of the handle of the door as his other hand gripped his cane for support. Good thing it was only short lived, the car was forcibly pushed forward a couple feet towards the open right lane.
I sat there for about a minute feeling a little bit of a panick attack and I glance at both of my grandparents and asked if they were alright. Relieved, no injuries were made, and my fingers were stumbling around to find the switch for the emergency lights. I was shaking and I got out of the car as the other driver got out as well.

I noticed she was about my age, if not, older. I believe she was Latina, her hair was tied up in a bun, her eyebrows plucked thinly and sharp, and had heavy make-up on her face. She had a worried feature when she looked at me. "Are you okay?" she asks. I told her we were fine and asked if she was alright. She nodded and I smiled at her. She apologized continuosly and I waved her off, I was just whole heartedly glad that no one was hurt. I glanced at the bumper and was amazed that only a few scratches were made as to her front bumper as well, it was a pretty heavy impact too.

My grandmother got out of the car and took a look at the bumper, the lady ask me if we wanted to exchange insurances for the damages that was made to the car. My grandma brushed it off because she just wanted to go home, and said it was okay since it was just a scratch. I saw the relief wash over the girl's face and asked us a couple more times if it was okay. I told her not to worry as long as we were all in one piece. I smiled and kept reassuring her it was fine.

We eventually got back in our cars and drove off to our separate destinations. Still a little shaky, I drove more cautiously home and got home safely.

That girl is lucky that I'm a nice person!!!!!!
